Support your remote and hybrid workers & address Scope 3 emissions

Empower your team to save energy

Thermal imaging surveys pinpoint the causes of cold at home. With 15-20% of heat-loss potentially coming from draughts, we highlight the easy wins, and sometimes larger projects, that help people save on energy bills and achieve a more comfortable home.

Help your staff identify energy inefficiencies at home and reduce heating costs, whilst meeting ESG goals. This initiative not only supports their well-being but also demonstrates your commitment to lowering Scope 3 emissions.

Why thermal imaging?

  • Remote and hybrid working has meant lower office costs and carbon footprint, reduced traffic and commute times, and happier teams. But working from home means more energy spent heating the home to stay comfortable at your desk.
  • Where businesses have reduced their office overheads, it’s great to give some of this benefit back to staff. The CHEESE Project knows that the best place to start in making your home more energy efficient is through information, and we have found that 66% of households that we survey complete some kind of basic improvement action within 1 month of seeing us, and 87% have within 1 year.
  • On top of that, while it’s currently optional for businesses to report their Scope 3, indirect emissions, it’s wise to get a head start on helping your home workforce to be more energy-efficient.

What’s the service?

  • A guided thermal imaging survey with our expert surveyors takes you into every nook and cranny of your home, over a couple hours, to identify where you are losing the most heat.
  • You preheat your home to an 8-10 degree difference between the indoors and outdoors, we fit a blower door with fan to enhance the leaky points, and you get a USB of the full survey audio, video and stills to revisit any time.
  • We highlight easy DIY solutions and larger home improvement options along the way.

What’s the offer?

Our most common survey is a 3 bed house in central Bristol, taking about 2.5 hours, with a full price of £320. Thanks to grant and local authority subsidies, we are able to offer a huge 70% discount for homeowners and 80% discount for renters. Prices vary depending on building size and postcode.

We’re inviting businesses to commit to paying for a minimum of 5 thermal imaging surveys for their staff, to receive a further discount and one-to-one booking support.

Starting at a total bundle price of less than £300 you can help 5 employees towards reducing energy bills and improving home comfort, while demonstrating leadership on carbon reduction (total cost depends on tenure type and location).

I got really helpful advice about how to stop my flat being so cold and draughty. A lot of the action I can take is DIY and will be very easy, but I never would have known this without seeing the thermal images.
