Cold Homes Workshops coming up in Hartcliffe, Lockleaze and Southmead

We are excited to be running 3 grant-funded workshops all about the causes of cold in our homes, with free draughtproofing materials and refreshments

The CHEESE Project (Cold Homes Energy Efficiency Survey Experts) is hosting three free workshops all about keeping warm at home. We specialise in thermal imaging surveys, and with 1,200 surveys under our belts, our surveyors have seen all kinds of hidden issues, from poorly fitted windows, missing insulation, gaping utility holes, broken vents and much more. We’ll be sharing a top 10 offenders for the causes of cold in our homes, as well as chatting about your specific issues and where you might be able to get support, and demonstrating some easy DIY draughtproofing options.

The UK has the oldest and the coldest housing stock in Europe. We are on a mission to help more and more people understand their homes, reveal the hidden causes of cold, plus share some of the easy draughtproofing wins, and support routes they might be able to take towards a more comfortable home.

What’s on the agenda?

The workshops will last about 1.5 hours and will include:

  • Who is The CHEESE Project and what do we do?
  • Top 10 cold homes findings by a surveyor
  • Thermal camera demo
  • DIY draughtproofing demo
  • QnA sessions
  • FREE draughtproofing materials to take home
  • FREE refreshments

Please share this with anyone you think might be interested, those who are not usually online, and locals to the workshop areas who could benefit from attending.
