Job vacancies for part-time thermal-imaging surveyors, with free training

September 2018

The deadline for this opportunity has now passed, and we are no longer accepting applications.

We are looking for enthusiastic, sustainably-minded people to train as CHEESE Energy Tracers to conduct thermal image surveys of the interior of homes in Bristol this winter.

Commencing with a course over the weekend of October 20th/21st 2018 in Bristol, this opportunity begins with free training to a CPD standard in our unique method of thermal surveying.

We are offering part time work, according to your availability, daytime, evenings and weekends until the end of March 2019 (with two weeks leave over Christmas/New Year). There may be an opportunity to continue the work the following cold season (October 2019 to 31 March 2020). Due to the availability of householders and the nature of our surveys it will involve, at times, working during the evening and at weekends. It will be desirable for you to commit to an average of at least two surveys per week, lasting about 3 hours.

Pay for the role equates to around £15 per hour. Depending on the size of the home, surveys take between 2.5 to 4 hours, and payment per survey is from £50 to £67.50. This includes responsibility for a follow-up call for data after about one month. Employment is on a freelance contract with payment made against your invoice.
